You will learn about the ancient tradition of natural dyeing, the chemistry behind the process, how to dye and care for various materials from start to finish, and so much more.
How to Tie-Dye with Botanicals:
Tie-dye is the art of producing patterns on a piece of clothing or fabric by tying parts of it to shield it from the dye bath. This project will focus on teaching you how to create your own tie-dye patterns on the fabric of your choosing along with what supplies you’ll need to have on hand and how to proceed with the dyeing process once your fabrics have been tied.
